Our Trustees

Sowton Village Hall is run by a dedicated group of volunteer from the village who care deeply about the community, village, villagers and the hall. Our trustees work together to maintain the hall, support its activities, and ensure it continues to be a welcoming, well‑run space for everyone. Their commitment helps the hall thrive as the centre of village life.

Friends of the Hall

Alongside the trustee group are two "Friends of the Hall". Friends of the Hall are valued supporters who take an active interest in the life of the village hall. While not trustees, they act as ambassadors, helpers and a sounding board—supporting events, offering ideas, and helping maintain a strong link between the hall and the wider community. Their involvement helps ensure the hall remains welcoming, vibrant and responsive to local needs.
